How to care for your Neutered CATS

On the 6th Feb 2015, I brought my cats (Dean & Ginger) to the Clinic to be Neutered. I was a simple process to follow when I had Boy neutered last year. It only took him 3 days and he was so active and I can't really limit his movement as he hates to be caged up.. Me being a mom, bebel tak sudah cakap kat Boy .. this is for his own good..being a DEGIL cat.. bising nya Ya Allah tuhan jer tahu.. So Boy was okay..
For this new cats (Dean and Ginger) I asked Misi G how long does it take for the cats to recover. He said..

  • Male Cats = 3 - 6 days 
  • Female cats = 2 weeks..

So after waiting for the crew to hand me my furkids.. I had a chance to meet a cat rescuer. Baik hati betul kakak tu all the way from Shah Alam collected the stray cat from Puchong Perdana and send it to Misi G's Clinic to fix her up..

Dean being Dean. active and well adjusted at home.. Ginger at first have her mood swings.. no mood to eat.. but eventually she is okay.. I took her out of her cage just to make sure they have their eating time together..

I am going to take care of them until they are okay.. here are some of the tips that Misi have shared with me :


  1. You can put sand in the litter box but you need to frequently clean it up so there will be no infection 
  2. Plenty of drinking water
  3. Kibbles in the bowl most of the time.. Occasionally wet food (Limit to only twice a week)
  4.  No bathing or what so ever until pass the 2 weeks pantang period
  5. Make sure the female cats don't lick the surgical area frequently
I pray the 2 weeks will be gone in no time.. after this it's just gomol session with my fur kids..

    i wasnt a good mom..i couldnt bear to hear Boboy & Gegurl meowing in the cage so i let them out on the 2nd day (but they were confined to the bedroom anyway)..so we slept together on a mattress on the floor for many nights..lucky they were good kittens then and healed quite fast.. �� love them furkids!!
